In this article I am going to go over three products you can use to groom your beard on a budget. All of these products can be picked up at local retail stores.
1. Organic Coconut Oil : This is my favorite! Coconut oil can typically be picked up at your local grocery store for $5-$8 for a 16 oz jar. Great bang for your buck! I have purchased it from Trader Joe's, whole Foods and publix. Coconut oil is great for your skin and hair. I live in Florida and the sun is crazy down here. If I do not use products on my beard , my hair and skin get super dry, stringy , red etc etc. coconut oil is great for all of this. It is an anti aging antidote , oh yea you can eat it too!!
2. Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil is typically found in most beard oil concoctions. I have purchased jojoba oil from Trader Joe's grocery store and Sally's beauty store for about $6-$8 for a 4fl oz bottle. Again jojoba oil is great for your hair and skin. Also contrary to popular belief Jojoba oil actually helps with oily skin. When the skin remains well hydrated by the protective layer of the liquid wax, the sebaceous glands respond to it by down regulating sebum production. I have also seen in my own case that jojoba oil has helped tremendously with acne. I really love this oil because it is good for your beard , skin , lips , hands ... I PUT THAT SHIT ON EVERYTHING!!
3:Trader Joe's Head to Toe Moisturizing Balm: You can pick this up for about $4.99 at your local Trader Joes. If you do ot have Trader Joes near you can but it on amazon for around $10. At that point it may it make sense. This is a great balm not only to use on your beard but your face , lips , arms hands etc. It naturally moisturizes with omega3 and organic Shea butter. This balm allows for a good hold on your beard while keeping it nice and soft.
